Entropy of Words – on Running

August 12, 201612Aug

Had a nice meditative pause beside a small lake, Greifensee, while running this morning. The trail was relatively quiet. It was overcast and windy then. Sat there for some time. Breathed heavily in the air which was fresh and somewhat cold. Thought some thoughts. The setting was quite poetic and profound. After returning home, I tried to finish reading the book that we have in our apartment while eating some brunch. And came across this line.

“Sometimes I feel so sick at the state of the world I can’t even finish my second apple pie.” ― Banksy, Wall and Piece

Had to laugh out loud at the futility of that “profound” meditative pause.
